WOW! Travel Pty Ltd was opened in May 2003 by Robyn Lawley and Lisa Myers.  Together we saw the opportunity to deliver personalized, boutique style service within our own business that we are individually renowned for. 

 

The conception of the brand was particularly important to us to engender our idea of the personalized service that we wished to provide to our clients, together with the sense of excitement that we both acknowledge comes with planning travel and the experience itself. 

 

 

Robyn Lawley

Managing Director

 

Robyn has over 25 years experience within the travel industry and has worked in various roles within that time as well as obtaining a qualification of Travel and Tourism Diploma.

She has experience in group, corporate, wholesale and retail travel and has also worked in the temporary travel staff industry.

Robyn has developed escorted tours, escorted conference tours and held many managerial roles within the industry.

Her stable working history has held her in good stead within the industry and she has a high profile enabling her to be part of an effective network of senior travel people.

 

 

Lisa Myers

Managing Director

 

Lisa has over 25 years experience within the travel industry. 

Lisa has completed tertiary studies in Travel & Tourism as well as many industry and marketing based courses over these years.  Lisa’s experience ranges through all facets of the travel industry covering retail, group, corporate and including many years of specialist wholesale travel.

Her range of experience gained working in the specialist wholesale market has covered many destinations, particularly in sales and marketing departments, this invaluable knowledge is rare in the travel industry.

Lisa’s has held many positions in the travel industry during her career and this has ensured a well-built infrastructure of travel associates at all levels, which is beneficial in the service industry of travel in Australia.  

 

 

Melanie Brown

Office Manager

 

Melanie has 10 years plus in the industry, her forte and enthusiasm is for the ANZACs.
Developing and escorting ANZACs to Turkey. Her passion for travel is exploring the local culture which extends back to her Youth Exchange days and her backpacking experiences from a tender age!
Melanie is continuously creating new and exciting ANZAC tours which explore the history, culture and ethos of a country that our Anzacs generally visited under duress.
Melanie’s caring nature is particularly prominent with dealing with our ANZACs as she has a family history of returned servicemen -2 generations and with her Great Grandfather being honoured with the Military medal.
 

 

Melissa Briggs

Consultant

 

Melissa is new to the Travel Industry commencing her position at WOW! Travel in 2007 after completing her Diploma of Travel and Tourism at William Angliss College.

Melissa’s role at WOW! is to finalize all documentation and manage the day to running of Domestic Accounts.

 

 

Heidi Mason

Consultant

 

Heidi has had over 10 years plus in the industry.

For many years Heidi worked at numerous Adventure Tour operators within Melbourne and London, gaining plenty of retail and corporate experience within the industry during this time.

She has travelled extensively in Asia, UK & Europe, Africa and the Americas. Starting out as a keen backpacker she now enjoys a bit of luxury while travelling, but no matter what the standard of travel, a cultural focus is of the highest importance.

A very efficient consultant with a passion for customer service and competitive pricing, some of her favourite destinations include Ireland, Tanzania and Peru.

 

 

Jade Crawford

Consultant

 

Jade is new to the Travel Industry and has recently returned to Austraila after working in the UK for 2 years. Most recently Jade has travelled to Europe and the USA.

Jade’s role at WOW! is to help Melissa finalize all documentation and the Domestic Accounts.

 

 

Emily Finch

Consultant

 

Emily has 7 plus years of experience in the travel industry. In this time she has experience in both leisure and corporate travel, dealing with clientele from backpackers to VIP 's. Recently she has moved from Sydney to Melbourne to join the WOW! team.

Emily has travelled extensively including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Fiji, New Zealand, Korea, Singapore, Macau, Thailand and her favourite destination being Egypt.

 

 

Sharyn Murphy

Sharyn is WOW! Travels back office support. Handling all the account keeping procedures.

 

 

Martin Lawley

Director

 

Martin has extensive business knowledge having owned and operated his own small business, in the past Martin has held positions such as General Manager of AHS Hospitality Group being directly responsible for $15m p.a. and presently Martin works in the Health care sector as Humane Resource Director.

 

 

Joe Fekete

Director

 

Joe is a qualified financial executive.

Joe has worked as CFO and Financial Controller in varying industries, ie Airline, Travel, Construction, Manufacture, Wholesale Distribution and Public Accounting. These businesses’ have ranged from $10m to $150m in size.
